Success & Failure #3

This is the 3rd Success & Failure I have posted. It is done to keep track of my goals and achievements throughout the month. It is a way for me to hold myself accountable.

It has been quite the hectic month around our home. My best friends wedding was this month, my birthday was this month and we had several other family gatherings and another wedding!

I know you shouldn't make any excuses but my goals have been seriously slacking this month because of how busy we have been.

My husband did buy me this amazing Garmin Forerunner 10 for my birthday. Exactly what I wanted! I was so excited!

I'll be perfectly honest with you though... I have only used it a couple times so far. Ah I feel horrible saying that! But its true.

I have been active just not enough to say I'm accomplishing my Fit Truths. But I have FINALLY dropped below 150lbs on the scale! YEAH FOR ME!  I have about 15 more to go to be at my goal. I would actually be happy losing 10 more if I was in shape :D

MOVING ON!

I have been a little better with my other goals... my house has remained fairly organized and clean. So thats a win!

My writing on the other hand has suffered a little. I have still been writing but it hasn't been everyday. But I have been organizing my Blog/Writing Planner! So I think that counts.

One of my biggest accomplishments this month has been with my little girl.  She is now putting herself to sleep at night. I put her in her crib and she fusses for a little bit but she falls asleep pretty quickly, which has been AMAZING for me because not only do I get some free time at night now but I no longer have to fight with her to go to sleep.

It has been a HUGE relief the past few days!

What have you accomplished this month? Did you work on your goals?

  2. Stopping over from the SITS girls. I'm working on losing weight too, but it is going VERY slowly. I like the idea of the Garmin because it's a watch. I had a Striiv unit, but it was tiny and just fit in your pocket, so predictably, I lost it. Same thing with my pedometer. Clipped on to my waistband - lost. Something like this might actually stay on. I just wish they weren't quite so pricey!

I see that you are doing a decluttering project. You should pop over to my blog - AdriansCrazyLife.com. I am a decluttering expert and I have tons of posts you might find helpful. I also work with clients, both in person and over the phone. I call it clutter coaching and I've helped quite a few people that way.

    1. Yes I definitely love the watch! I am really good at losing things too so I have to make sure I put the watch back in the same place every time ;)

I am excited to come see what you have to offer with decluttering! I am very much working on this still and need to get things into gear quickly as we would like to put our home up for sale this fall.

Thanks for taking the time to comment Adrian :D
